Every plugin, as a picture
Plugindex photographs each plugin's window for you. There is nothing to tag or color first.
See every plugin you own as a picture, and put it on the selected track with a click or a key.

Live keeps plugins in its browser, and three parts of it do the work.
Plug-Ins, in the sidebar
Your VST and Audio Units plugins are under the Plug-Ins label. Search finds one by name, and a double-click or Enter loads it on the selected track.
Some plugins arrive tagged
Live tags a VST3 plugin when its maker's category maps to one of Live's own. The Tag Editor lets you add tags to anything else yourself.
Seven colors, assigned by hand
Give a plugin a color from its context menu, or with the keys 1 to 7, and it appears under that Collection in the sidebar.
What Live does not tag for you, you organize yourself: a tag or a color at a time.
Plugindex fills in your library from Live's own browser: every plugin Live has found, with your racks, saved presets and Max for Live devices.
Plugindex photographs each plugin's window for you. There is nothing to tag or color first.
Compressors, limiters, reverbs, delays: sorted for you, down to the type, in every format. Or type a few letters of a name or a maker and the grid comes down to it.
Click a plugin, or press the key you gave it. It lands on the selected track, without you opening the browser.
An instrument gets a new track when the selected one already has one. Settings can make that always, or never.
Give a plugin a key in Ableton Live. The same key loads it in Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Bitwig Studio, REAPER and Studio Pro, wherever that plugin is installed.
Plugindex tells you when a key only works in the DAW you're in. Logic Pro is Mac only, and Pro Tools on Windows is still in progress.
Free keeps your whole library, with 50 loads a week and 3 mapped keys. Pro is $99 once, for unlimited loads and keys.
