Kramer PIE Compressor
What it does
- Models the Pye compressor from Olympic Studios, a pulse-width modulation design.
- Developed with producer Eddie Kramer.
- Controls are Threshold, Ratio and Decay, with no attack control.
- Optional analog noise and hum recreate the original behavior.
- Pairs with Kramer HLS to rebuild the Olympic signal chain.
