What it does
- Splits a stereo mix into the center channel and the sides.
- Raise or lower center-panned material such as a lead vocal in an already mixed track.
- Widens or narrows the stereo image by changing the side level.
- A Low control keeps low-frequency center material, like kick and bass, at its level.
- Can narrow the low frequencies for vinyl mastering.
