What it does
- Transient shaper with three knobs: Attack, Sustain and Gain.
- Raising Attack adds bite to kicks and snares, and lowering it calms harsh sounds like hi-hats.
- Sustain controls room sound and tails, so it can lengthen a snare ring or cut a long reverb tail.
- Used on drums, percussion, guitars and other sources with a clear attack, or to repair a problem recording.
