ChickenHead, ChickenHead APB
What it does
- An aggressive compressor with ratio, attack and release controls and a Sauce feature.
- Applies the hardest-hitting of McDSP's three custom saturation circuits found in its APB hardware.
- Compression and saturation stages are analog, with sample accurate automation.
- Side-chain processing, and suited to crushing drums and taming transient-heavy chords.
